| Canandaigua Baptist has been blessed to have Dave Seeley as a full-time jail chaplain working in the Ontario County Jail. Chaplain Dave knows that transformation in a life only comes from the Gospel message. Therefore, he uses his passion for inmates and his spiritual gifts to bring them the hope found in Jesus. With the recent construction at the Ontario County Jail, inmates now have a Chapel in which to worship and Chaplain Dave has a permanent office. Jail Ministry History |

Ministry in the Ontario County Jail was begun in 1975. After retiring from teaching, in 1991, David Seeley was asked to consider being chaplain as he had the training and the experience. He accepted that position and began as chaplain in September of 1992. David is currently the jail chaplain at the Ontario County Jail. |
